How to Set Up a Grow Room

Supplemental Light

If you are just looking to add supplemental light to a plant that happens to already be receiving sunlight, then there is not much work you need to do. For example, if a plant is situated near a window, but during winter it does not receive enough light. In this case adding a LED grow light can greatly benefit the plant. All you need to do is set up, plug it in, and turn on the light as needed. There is no need for any other equipment that other grow lights require.

If you are a more serious grower, then you know the benefit of sectioning off an entire room just for growing. It is easier to regulate growing conditions and keep the area sterile. Clay aggregate is one the best growing mediums to use in place of soil. The pH is close to neutral, it is porous, and it is easy to clean. You can start seedlings, propagate, or grow full sized plants in it. Simply fill a container and stick your plant in. Click for Details 

Squirrel Cage Fan

A squirrel cage fan is the best way to ventilate the air in your grow room. You can get other devices to program it to run once the humidity or temperature if your grow room reaches a certain point. The exhaust can be directed out through a hose anywhere you want. Click for Details
